This is a cross between a cultivar of my own making and a famous giant; ‘Red Beret’ grows like a red-lidded alata on steroids and maintains a crisp, almost military-precise cut of color under the lid and sharp veins while almost patternless on the exterior, and “Lunch Box” is a ‘Leah Wilkerson’ mimic with richer color. Offspring should be large, marked with stark red coloration under the lid and in the throat, and lightly white-spotted in the upper pitcher and lid. Owing to the size and vigor of both parents, they should also be fast-growing, large, and fairly cold-hardy.

Packets contain approximately 20 seeds, and require cold stratification.

Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail (First Class or Priority). US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets. If a package is lost in transit, please contact as soon as possible.
