Sarracenia purpurea var. montana “Transylvania, NC. Clone A” is a variety of Southern Purple Pitcher Plant native to the Appalachian mountains of the Carolinas with the leaf lids curled inwards. This is a very gorgeous and vigorous clone, with nearly solid red bodies and heavily veined, bright green leaf lids in the spring, before turning solid red-purple in the fall! All clones are genetically identical.
Size options:
Small- Juvenile, may or may not have adult pitchers
Medium- Adult pitchers, may or may not be of flowering size
Large- Adult pitchers, of flowering size and may have 1 or more growth points.
