For those of you looking for AMAZING Mitchelliana bred by master Sarracenia breeder Phil Faulisi, here is your shot! This cross was grown from seed obtained from Phil in fall of 2018 and are showing some AMAZING colors. Due to our high powered LED lights, these plants don’t currently exhibit much white coloration, however outdoors they should be striking with white hoods and strong veins! The plant you are purchasing will be shipped, potted in a 2.5” pot ready to grow for you! The plants are currently growing indoors under lights, so you will need to harden them off gradually before moving them outdoors to grow. These will be stunners! The last photo in this listing is from a friend whom I shared one of these plants with and should show a better idea of what they’ll look like outdoors. Shipping on these plants is FREE, so stock up!

This is a medium sized division of a great clone breeder alata from Jerry Addington and is the running for my favorite alata, which is saying something.  He created this plant by crossing a vigorous green alata, with a very dark alata nigrapurpurea.  The result was an extremely tall and vigorous clone that gets an almost solid black throat with red striping on the outside of the pitchers.  This clone pushes 30" in my conditions without breaking a sweat. All plants are shipped bare root via USPS Priority mail with pitchers intact when not dormant so your plant arrives safe, healthy, and ready to thrive and I typically ship on Mondays or Tuesdays.

This is a fun variety of Alata. Velvet like hairs cover the outer tubes and look almost silver. The pubescence make the tubes look matte and flat in effect. Sturdy late pitchers are forming right now and look amazing! CPR164
