I only have two prime examples of one of the rarest and most sought after pitcher plant cultivars available - Sarracenia Crown of Thorns. This beautiful monster is heavily influenced by the Reptilian Rose parent (the hybrid is Reptilian Rose x (flava var. rubricorpora x leucophylla "Purple Lips")) making it appear to have a barbed lip. The hood is large and almost upright, showing off heavy red-purple veining against a white backdrop. This plant has the form, color, and personality of a winner. A truly unique and rare plant for the discerning collector!

One of the biggest clones of Sarracenia x courtii around, this purpurea venosa x psittacina DBG cross will consume your thoughts and your heart, and if it is an alien topiary, that may be as literal as it is figurative.

The poster child of the carnivorous plant world, Dionaea muscipula, also known as Venus flytraps, are the fascinating snappy insect-munchers that fantasies are made of. With hinged jaws, digestive enzymes, and the ability to count, flytraps defy common perceptions about plants. The photos feature a clump of my propagation stock of these unique Venus flytraps, you will receive one starter plant with your purchase. Shipped bare root. Venus flytraps are temperate insectivores and originate from the Carolinas where they experience a winter dormancy and spring and summer growth. During winter dormancy, leaves are trimmed back. Come spring, they explode back to life with new trap growth and represent the featured photo.

This is a tiny sundew species from northern South America, very similar to its slightly more common relative D. kaieteurensis but tending to express less hairy flower stalks with fewer blooms. Plants rarely exceed an inch across, the paddle-shaped leaves growing out in a flat rosette that sometimes develops into short stems, and under good light they can turn nearly solid red. Flower stalks are very short, usually under 2 inches tall, the flowers on them nearly as large as the plants themselves and pure white, self-pollinating. Seeds are released from "splash cups" formed by the opening pods, and don't require any special treatment to germinate.
Packets contain approx. 20+ seeds each.
Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail (First Class or Priority). US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets. If a package is lost in transit, please contact as soon as possible.
