Yellow Jackets are a chartreuse dream! These tall tubes with upright lids are prolific growers. At the start of growing season, the pitchers color is almost neon green, slowing transforming to a more golden hue come fall. It is a cross between Purpurea, Rosea, and Flava. One big advantage of this Yellow Jacket is that it does well in part shade. In fact I have most of mine growing in part shade, where they seem to grow taller fatter pitchers. Flowering size Yellow Jacket currently growing in a 4 inch pot. Plants for sale are older and will have multiple growth points. Please note: plants are entering dormancy, some plants will be shipped with no leaves.

King Henry is one of the largest varieties of Venus flytraps around and a must-have for your carnivorous plant garden. Given a deep pot and healthy growing conditions, the flytrap will reward  you with 2 inch traps at the end of long leaves/petioles. The plants for sale are mature, and there’s a limited stock, so pick one up today! Dionaea ‘King Henry’ is a vigorous grower, regularly holding 6+ traps at one time, and producing offshoots that you can let cluster into a glorious Venus flytrap bush, or divide into individual specimen plants. Famously referred to as the "Angry Bunny bladderwort" due to the uncanny resemblance of the flowers to frowning lagomorph faces, this species is an easy-growing, easy-blooming plant that covers the soil in roughly wedge-shaped leaves and throws up numerous stalks covered in white and purple-patterned blooms that sport what look distinctly like purple-centered ear lobes and a skirt sporting a scowling face. While this form is not as rapid-growing as the blue form, it is far more generous in flowering. Plants are sold as approx. 0.5-1" plugs Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! This is a highly cold-tolerant bulb, capable of surviving deep freezes and should be unbothered by most inclement weather. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.

With your Utricularia purchase, you will receive the full contents of a pot as featured in the photos, minus the soil (this keeps shipping costs low and any potential non-native soil critters from spreading). This South American species is rather unique in simultaneously developing two distinctly different types of leaves, one set an elongate ovular ground-hugging type that will blanket the soil, and the other (often produced along the edges of the pot here, interestingly), a tall, grass-like blade up to 6" or more tall. Exposure to strong seasonal changes supposedly should trigger development of stalks that sport several moderately sized, lemon-yellow flowers. One of the many spectacular giant "Orchid" bladderworts from South America, this species is particularly famous for inhabiting the water-filled urns of bromeliads and other epiphytic plants, forming loose clumps of stolons covered in large bladder traps and tall, peltate umbrella-like leaves within the pools and spreading stolons that reach up and out into new territories (give it lots of space or it'll colonize other pots). Slight variations in seasonal conditions may result in very tall stalks that will sport one to several big, bright purple/white/yellow flowers that can sometimes be self-pollinated and produce strange papery seeds with already-green baby plants within. This is a unique clone grown from seed.
Available plants are small plugs containing actively branching stolons, may or may not have leaves present due to the spreading nature of the plant; those without leaves will develop them once settled. Last photo is an example of a plug. Plants are shipped bare-root wrapped in a moist paper towel, via USPS Priority mail; I typically ship Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend hold-overs. US shipping only. Many plants are grown in high humidity conditions and may require acclimation, unless otherwise noted. If you are expecting weather that may be detrimental to the plants if shipped, please message me upon making your order! Shipping cost includes heat pack or cold pack/insulation as needed for detrimental weather conditions. If there are issues with the plants upon arrival, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt.

    U. longifolia is one of the easiest large bladderworts to grow, tolerant of a wide range of wet soil types and temperatures; leaves often reach between 6-12" in length (some may grow even longer), and if given mild seasonal cues will often send up numerous stalks in mid winter to early spring that sport several large, brilliant violet and yellow blooms up to almost 2" across. Packets contain 50+ seeds; these should be able to be cold-stored for long periods if necessary and should germinate readily on moist soil. Plants grow best in an airy sphagnum or peat/perlite mix, kept very moist to even waterlogged. Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail. US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets. If a package is lost in transit, please contact as soon as possible.

A relative of the more familiar U. dichotoma, this bladderwort is an Australian endemic that produces sparse mats of thin leaves and stalks that bear small but beautiful multi-hued violet and yellow/white flowers. Germination of many Utricularia seeds is not always a simple affair, but may be good for a challenge determining seasonal, chemical, or other cues to trigger sprouting, and this species is likely to be similar. Packets contain approx. 40-60+ seeds. Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail (First Class). US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets. If a package is lost in transit, please contact as soon as possible.

This Australian classic is easy to grow and easy to bloom. Living typically as a terrestrial to affixed aquatic plant (does best just barely flooded), it develops mats of short, teardrop shaped leaves across the soil, and one established will send up thick stalks bearing one to several bright purple slipper-shaped blooms, often in pairs; stronger light equals darker purple. The flowers are also adorned with a bright yellow spot on the upper palate that offsets the violet. This is also a species that produces bladder traps large enough to readily see and often right at the soil surface. Plants are sold as 0.5-1" plugs. A South American endemic and a great beginner plant, this somewhat shade-loving species develops moderately to large-sized rounded leaves that are often marked in prominent purple veins, and thick flower stalks that bear self-pollinating purplish flowers marked in the center with darker hues and a yellow spot. Seeds of this species are capable of being stored cold for years and germinate readily on moist soil. Packets contain approx. 30-50+ seeds. Seeds are shipped in padded envelopes to avoid damage in transit, via USPS mail (First Class). US shipping only. As seeds can take time and sometimes special treatments in order to germinate properly, returns cannot be accepted and refunds are not available upon receipt of the seed packets.
